Frequently asked questions
Is your service psychotherapy?
No. AO Psychologie offers consulting and assessment in a non-therapeutic context, focusing on career and organizational questions. Mental illnesses are not diagnosed or treated. If you are suffering from persistent psychological complaints, please contact your GP or a psychotherapy practice.
How does the initial consultation work?
In the initial consultation, we clarify your concern, your goals and the right framework. You then receive a proposal for how to proceed.
For individuals: The initial consultation takes about 30 minutes and costs €55.
For companies: The first introductory meeting is free of charge. We clarify your needs, and you then receive an individual offer.
Is consulting also possible online?
Yes. Appointments take place either in Munich or online via video conference.
Which languages do you consult in?
German, English and Albanian.
Does health insurance cover the costs?
Usually not, as these are consulting services outside the scope of medical treatment. However, employers often cover the costs, for example as part of staff development or workplace health promotion.
How confidential are the conversations?
All content is treated as strictly confidential. When working on behalf of a company, results are shared only to the extent agreed in advance and consented to by the person concerned.
Can I cancel or reschedule an appointment?
Yes, free of charge up to 48 hours before the appointment. For later cancellations or no-shows, the agreed fee is due. Details can be found in our terms and conditions.
Do you also work with companies?
Yes, for example on organizational diagnostics, employee surveys, workshops for managers or designing workplace reintegration management (BEM). Scope and fees are agreed individually.
How do you support companies with BEM?
From designing a legally sound BEM process under § 167(2) of the German Social Code IX and advising on individual cases to training the people responsible for BEM. The consulting is aimed at employers, HR departments and employee representatives.
Are employee survey results analysed anonymously?
Yes. Results are reported only in aggregated, anonymized form, so no conclusions can be drawn about individuals.
